Liposuction of the back

The back is an area which is not one of the most common areas for liposuction, but some people develop fat accumulations in the lowest part of the back. In addition, many women develop fat deposits or "rolls of fat" or "bra fat" below the bra strap area of the back.

The patient can find these deposits cosmetically bothersome, particularly if there is enough fat to cause rolls of fat in the area.  Fairly commonly, patients who accumulate fat in the hip area develop some "trouble spots" resistant to diet and exercise in the lower back as well.

These fat deposits can be effectively treated with tumescent liposuction.
