Angioma - This woman had a red spot on her right upper forehead for some time. She was cosmetically bothered by it, so she parted her hair on the left side to allow the hair to cover the red spot. The red spot is an angioma. Angiomas are benign. When appearance is objectionable to the patient, they may be easily treated by laser.
Appearance of the facial angioma after laser treatment. Note markedly diminished size and decreased redness of the lesion. Laser
treatment of angioma is very rapid; only a minute or so is required.
Final appearance after additional laser treatment. Patient now parts her hair on her preferred (right) side, now that the angioma is
removed. More than one treatment was required.
